How long before planting
Hi. My spring pansies seem to just be getting started so dont want to rip them out. If I buy a flat of vinca now, how long will they stay without getting them in the ground right away? Don’t want to lose out on them. Thank much!

If you mean the annual flowering Vinca (not the perennial vine Vinca minor or major) then depending on how crowded the roots are in the container your annuals can live (but not thrive happily) for another week or two before suffering from lack of root space. Maybe you can move the pansies to another spot so you can get the vinca into the ground. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
