How should I prune a frostbitten vine?
I have a hardy jasmine vine which is usually evergreen. This past winter it got a nasty frost bite during the late snow. I can see the vines have green centers. Except for a handful of leaves, all the leaves are withered. Should I cut this down and have it regrow? This has been over an arbor for several years. Thank you.

Yes - those damaged leaves will not become green again and cutting back the vine now in late spring will give it time to regrow this summer. You will be surprised at how quickly it sends out new growth and covers the arbor again. It has the advantage of a mature root system. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
