I have prepared the soil and have the plants. How do I actually organize and put the plants in the ground

Welcome to gardening! We love that you are asking questions and as a beginning gardener the best place to learn quickly is to visit the You Tube channel of PlanersPlace. You can go to YouTube then put in my name and "planting peas" or "Planting carrots" or if you are growing flowers try "planting annuals". This will give you a visual of how to: First organize the plants by placing them on the ground while still in the pots. Make sure all plants are well watered before you begin to plant. Space plants apart depending on what the label recommends and aim to put taller plants in the back and shorter ones in the front. Once arranged (again, not sure if you are planting edibles or ornamentals or trees or shrubs) dig a hole much wider and deeper than the pot. Loosen up the soil and remove rocks larger than your fist. Place plant into hole so that the plant is growing at same level it was in pot. Don't plant too deep. Carefully remove plant from pot by holding it upside down and knocking edge of pot or pounding bottom of pot so that it slides out with all roots intact. Don't pull plant from pot. Once plant is in hole move loose soil back into place around the roots. Firm with hands not feet. Water slowly in a circle around the plant getting closer and closer and making sure soil around plant is moist. You can do it and remember most plants are very forgiving and really want to grow. Watering, feeding and other care of plant depends again on what you are growing but I am going to expect great things from your garden. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
