Hydrangea growth
Hi, I have some”endless summer” hydrangeas, 2 which have died. The other ones are not too good either. One is kind of mostly in shade and it’s doing best but I’ve had it about at least a couple to three yrs. and all it eve rdoes is produce leaves. It hasn’t bloomed yet ? The other is smaller even though it’s in shade and sun. When the growing season is over, they go back down and never do anything but leaves. What do I need to do for these please ?

Do you live in an area with cold winters? Sometimes the flower buds freeze in the spring. Lack of water and late pruning can also prevent these hydrangeas from flowering. I suggest you contact your local Master Gardener or nursery to see if this type of hydrangea will bloom in your climate. Good luck, Marianne Binetti
