Ilosaf’s Question
I live in Enumclaw and have been enjoying “Pink Lady” apples from a friend in Yakima for several years now. Since no nursery I have found stock these trees could you recommend a tree that has the same crisp texture and great taste but will do well on our side of the mountain?
Thank you,

Great question but to get the answer you will need to attend one of the harvest fairs in the area so you can do a taste test of the apples that can be grown here. I believe the one nearest to you would be in Mt. Vernon, Washington and you can contact the local Extension agent about the date of these fairs. I usually recommend the old fashioned Gravenstien apple for firm texture and great taste. Keep growing, Marianne Bnietti
