Marianne's Response
The Peace lily is one of the easiest to grow houseplants. It does not require direct light so a bright window is fine. Just do not overwater and make sure this plant does not sit in drainage water. Use your finger to poke down one inch into the soil and water when the top inch of soil is dry. Fertilize with Osmocote once every six months using half as much as recommended on the package for outdoor plants. Indoor plants do not grow as fast or need as much fertilizer as outdoor plants. During the winter months when light is low the plant will use less water so there is no set timing of when to water. It could be once every ten days or every few days depending on how big the container and plant is. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
