Indoor plants(cactus)
I bought your Osmocote Plus for indoor and outdoor feeding. Enclosed in the container is a small scoop with each end having a different measurement. My question is which measurement should I use for my indoor plants? The large end says 1TBS and the small end says 1/4TSP. Next question is do I mix into soil or leave it on top of the soil? I have some large cactus gardens and I don’t want to kill them. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Gail Baker

The amount to use depends on the size of the plant and the size of the container. The usual amount is one TBS for an average plant in a one gallon size container. If you have young plants in smaller pots use less Osmocote. So a pot that is half the size of a one gallon container would need half as much or 1/2 TBS of fertilizer. Place the product on top of the soil and then work it into the top half inch of soil by scratching the surface of the soil. The fertilizer will be released slowly when you water.
