Marianne's Response

Is this a Viburnum or Hydrangea

I put this plant up in a plant Id group and have had conflicting answers. I think this is a snowball but some say Hydrangea.

Marianne's Response

Oh dear, I cannot see any photo or image and I suspect the problem is on our end. You can try to resubmit with a photo but I am going to guess right now that the mystery plant is a snowball viburnum. The reason I do not think it is a hydrangea is because viburnums flower in April and May and hydrangeas bloom later in the summer. Therefore, if is blooming now, I vote with you and say it is a viburnum. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
