Marianne's Response
Salty well water and blackberries
We had our well water tested and it came back saying too much salt, not good for plants. What about blackberries? We would like to use our well to water our blackberries.

I am not familiar with how much salt your well might have, but I do know blackberries are tough and adaptable, so give it a try and see how they grow after being nourished with your well water. If salty water destroys a plant, the plant goes limp or looks thirsty. Some plants are very sensitive to salt (such as gardenias) but others grow and adapt to whatever gets thrown at them. Let us know if you are baking blackberry pies soon.
Keep growing,
