How to store seeds

I always have lots of left over seeds from planting. What is the best way to preserve for next year?

Keep seeds dry and safe by putting them inside a glass jar and sealing it up tight with a screw lid. An old Mason jar is great but you can clean out any glass jar. The glass just makes the seed packs easy to see so you won't forget what you have. You can also use a margarine tub or other water tight plastic container if you promise to label it. I just found seeds saved from years ago that I forgot I had. I planted them anyway and only about 10% came up. Fresh seed is best. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
