How to remove wild raspberry canes

I have what appears to be wild raspberry canes growing in my flower bed. I tried to remover them by digging them out and not hurting my flowers. They came back and it seems like there are more of them. How can I remove them and not hurt or destroy my plants?

The best way is to dig and follow the roots to remove as much as possible without disturbing the roots of your other plants. Then keep cutting any sprouts to the ground all summer. This will starve out the remaining roots as they must have leaf growth to survive. Good luck, Marianne Binetti
