Marianne's Response
Can I grow a rose bush from cut flowers?
I had gotten a dozen roses. Can a new bush grow off of some stems?

No - the cut flower industry grows roses in a greenhouse on tender root stalks that, even if you do manage to get a stem cutting to root, it will not be hardy enough to survive outdoors. So try it anyway and prove me wrong. Gardening is an art not a science and gardeners are always breaking rules and surprising the \"experts.\"
Keep growing,
