Marianne's Response
Yes, potted mini roses can be moved indoors for the winter but they must have bright light near a window and watch them carefully for spider mites. Misting the leaves will help prevent mites as well as not letting the soil dry out. Clip off the faded rose blooms and fertilize with a slow release plant food like Osmocote to encourage slow and steady growth. You are bringing back memories of my college dorm room when I was a horticulture student at Washington State University. I grew miniature roses on my window sill and collected the tiny rose blooms to make corsages for college dances. They are rather difficult houseplants to keep happy but worth the effort. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
