Marianne's Response
Kale question
How late in the year can I plant kale seeds in the Olympia area and expect decent results?

Marianne's Response
In a normal season you can plant kale, swiss chard and other seeds of greens until mid September and they should sprout and become seedlings tough enough to survive the winter. Then you will have a jump start on spring and perhaps some seedlings to thin and enjoy all fall and into the winter. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
