Do you live in a hot climate? Does your lemon spend the winter indoors or outside? Plants are like people in that they can take more sun if they first build up a \"tan\" or get used to the sunshine gradually over time. If you move any plant from indoors to outside in full sun it will burn the foliage. Morning sun is more gentle than the hot afternoon sun and lemon trees do require bright light to fruit. I would enjoy your Meyer lemon in a spot that gets morning sun only and for the worm problem check the underside of each leaf and wipe with a cloth dipped in a mild soapy water solution to remove any mites or worms. Then gently rinse the leaves. Do this on a cloudy, cool day and keep the plant out of the sun when you give it a bath. I think the summer outdoors will inspire new growth and lovely lemons on your plant. Pucker up for some great lemonade ahead. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
