Marianne's Response
Laurel’s Question
Hi Maryanne, I have bought some potted dahalias that are about 12-18 inches tall. Can they be planted into the garden at this late date or should I leave in the pots for this year. Thanks Laurel

Dig in and plant now. To make things easier on them do the transplant operation in the evening and water the potted plants well a few hours before the move and after the transplant. Dahlias are sturdy plants that should adapt well, Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
