Marianne's Response

Leafhoppers have enjoyed an explosion of population growth due to the cold, wet spring. You can try squishing these tiny sapsuckers with your fingers, rinsing them off with a strong jet of water or using Neem oil to coat and suffocate the insects. The good news is this infestation is unlikely to kill your tree but could affect the amount and quality of the fruit this year. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
