Marianne's Response
Lemon beauty
Marianne, if I cut my lemon beauty bush to the ground, do you think I would get a nice small manageable plant like was demonstrated at Walwrath on Saturday?

Yes, the Lonicera nitida 'Lemon Beauty' tolerates pruning so you can prune it into a hedge or a small tree but it will not stay small and compact. This shrub wants to be 4 to 6 feet tall so you will need to trim it twice a year to keep it compact like the one I showed at Walrath's. It does look lovely with your other yellow foliage plants. I suggest you invest in some power shearers and keep it pruned into a hedge shape. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
