Dog pee should be diluted with water as soon as possible but most Vets will tell you not feed your dog tomato juice or any other home remedy to make their urine less potent. In the most successful dog friendly gardens the owners train their pets to use one part of the yard as their bathroom. Usually this area is covered with gravel.
