Should I harvest my broccoli rabe when I see yellow seeds?
Hello! I live in MA on the northshore. This is my first year for planting broccoli rabe. The 4 plants are doing well, however only about 6-7″ tall and are getting the yellow seeds visible. Should I pinch those off or is the rabe ready for harvest? I’m not too familiar with never planting previously but don’t want to harm plant and/or harvest too soon.

Broccoli rabes is a short season, bitter version of regular broccoli and you should harvest by cutting the entire stem as soon as you see flower buds form. Enjoy!
Keep growing,
