How to identify Transdescantia
Can you please help me identify this plant? It has long, grass like leaves that grow out of the top of a stem. A purple flower grows where the leaves and stems meet. The plant itself resembles a Spiderwort, but the flower resembles a lily (not the cone shaped flowers, the flatter looking flowers). Thank you for your help!

Looks like a form of Transdescantia which is the same family of Spiderwort and the houseplant Wandering Jew. There are many varieties and some hybrids and the one you have is lovely.
