What time of year is the best for transplanting iris bulbs?

Fall or mid summer are both fine times. Just wait until the flowers have faded then remove the stalks and if you live in a mild winter area you can wait until fall to dig and divide the tubers. If you live where the ground usually freezes, dig and divide after July. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
