Madevilla care
I have a Mandevilla plant in a pot a friend gave me. It is woody looking and vines are brown. I live in S. GA. Should I cut back the brown vine and repot in the ground?

Yes, in your warm summer climate the tropical Mandevilla vine will do well as a blooming plant in the ground. This heat lover needs a warm spot so near a sunny wall or against the house is ideal. Provide a support system as this plants need to twine around a trellis or obelisk to best enjoy the blooms. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
