Manual Edgers Recommendations?

I purchased a manual edger from the Tacoma Home and Garden Show around 15-20 years ago. The manual edger has a wooden handle similar to a garden rake. The blade on the end is triangular and one side is serated/saw toothed. It was called The Shark. It is the best garden tool of all! I used it, abused it, never cleaned or sharpened it, and sometimes left it out in the rain. IT WAS THE BEST for defining flower beds, refiguring grass, cutting through webbing, and dividing hosts. Well, it finally broke (from the handle) a few years ago and I am trying to find another one. I was hoping you would know what I was talking about? And if you know who still sells them or have any manual edgers recommendations? 🙂

I do not know where you can get that brand of step edger but I do know there is a manual edger with a serrated edge at ACE hardware stores. It would be very similar to what you describe. I suggest you visit your local ACE hardware store, describe the tool and if they do not have on in stock they will order if for you. Hope you are back to edging soon! Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
