Tall, shade-loving perennials
I am looking for colorful, 12″ to 18″ tall perennials that grow in shade or partial shade.

A shaded garden is great for growing perennials such as astilbe, foxgloves, brunera, and the very tall blue perennial called monkshood or Aconitum. Some hostas with large leaves will send up spikes of bloom that are 18\" tall. It will be lovely on a hot summer day.
