That depends on how much sun, shade, and room you have. The easiest to grow would be geraniums and petunias for the sun and impatiens and begonias for a more shaded site. Use a good potting soil like the Osmocote brand and be sure the pots have drainage holes. You may also want to visit a local nursery and ask what container plants in your region are easiest to grow.
