Asparagus going to seed
I live in Auburn, Washington and have planted asparagus for the first time. It almost looks like it’s gone to seed. Is this how it’s supposed to look?

Yes, the asparagus spears will grow fluffy and tall in spikes as it matures in the summer. When this turns yellow in the winter you can cut the growth to the ground and harvest fresh spears in the spring. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
