Marianne's Response
Companion planting in vegetable gardens
What plants need to have multiple rows in your garden to really do well? And what plants do best next to each other. I am only asking about vegetable gardens.

Corn is the main crop that needs to be planted in blocks or rows so that the wind can help pollinate the tassels. As for companion planting, carrots love tomatoes and cabbage hates strawberries but the reasons and more companion planting couples can be found in the classic book \"Carrots Love Tomatoes\" by Louise Riotte. In general stinky plants like onion and garlic help keep insects away from veggies that suffer from rust fly and green worms. Read the book and you'll learn so much more.
Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
