How to care for a blooming begonia
Hi, my daughter just bought me a yellow Begonia. It’s in a flower pot, I don’t know if I should keep it there, or put in flower bed? And also how to tend to it? TY! Barb

I love begonias as they are so easy to grow. Your blooming begonia will be fine indoors for a few weeks but it will be happier if moved outdoors to a shaded location for the summer. You can leave it in the pot and just keep the soil moist and the plant out of the hot sun for months of blooms. If you want to add it to a flower bed make sure the soil is loose and moist and shaded from the hot sun. Add a slow release plant food like Osmocote to the soil at planting time to encourage your begonia plant to produce more blooms and flower all summer.
Keep Growing,
