Poinsettias are easy care houseplants as long as you keep them out of drafts and don't let them dry out or sit in drainage water. They are members of the euphorbia family but are from Mexico so they cannot handle cold weather. You usually cannot find them for sale until November. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
