Can penstemon seeds be saved and planted

Yes, but the seeds may not breed true or look exactly like the parent plant. Collect seeds in fall, store in cool dry spot over winter and germinate in pots indoors in early spring. Move to landscape when seedlings are 2 to 3 inches tall and all danger of frost is passed. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
