How to transplant grapevines that are tangled together

Four grapevines were planted in the wrong spot over 20 years ago between a storage shed and apple trees. It gets insufficient sun. I want to transplant these vines, but they are tangled together. May I lop them off about 3 feet tall? They are two different types of grape, one a blush and the other unknown. (They have never gotten past the pink phase.)

Also, where do I find a composite of your newspaper articles? I have saved what I can the past few years, but it would be so much easier to have them in one spot, all organized. Have they been put into a book?

First, yes you may prune back the grapevines and move them while they are still dormant in early spring.
