Jade plants are succulents and so using a potting soil made for cacti would be fine. The new pot must have good drainage so check to be sure there are holes in the bottom of the pot. Osmocote would be my choice as a plant food for any indoor plant because the fertilizer will be released slowly and many houseplants are over fertilized and this causes soft, weak growth. Your jade plant should go a bit dormant in the winter so hold back the water once it has made the transplant and after you water the first time to settle the plant into the new pot.
