okra plants
i bought some cheap weed and feed from wallmart 15-0-0 and got some on my okra plants and tomateos the stalks are scared but the leaves are still flatting out but is growing slow my tomatoe plant have not bloomed for a while will they die or will they keep growing and make okra pods and friut

Sounds like that high nitrogen fertilizer burned the foliage a bit and now the tomatoes is growing leaves rather than blooms from all the nitrogen. You may get some blooms followed by fruit set later on in the summer once the nitrogen is used up. To speed up the use of the nitrogen try flushing the soil with water. Then apply a slow release Osmocote plant food for flowers and vegetables. This will contain the potassium and phosphorus your veggies need to make fruit and flowers instead of just green leaves. My optimistic guess is you will still enjoy a harvest this fall. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
