Marianne's Response

Which direction to plant corn

Does it matter which direction I plant my corn—north, south, east, or west? I don’t think it matters, but I have been wrong before.

This depends on where you live and garden. Corn needs maximum sunshine. In a zone with hot summers, corn will thrive no matter what direction. In a cool summer area, you will get best results planting the corn in a Southeast direction, so the plants do not shade each other in the afternoon. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
