Osmocote feeding for redbud
The instructions I’ve found is to feed my redbud 1 capful for every 2ft of the longest branch along the drip line & my tree is very large . The dripline is in the middle of my backyard lawn. It doesn’t make sense to apply it to the lawn. Can you clarify the methodology for me please? Thank you SO much!

Is your red bud blooming well? A full grown tree should be fine with no additional fertilizer especially if you feed the lawn and the roots are under the grass. I suggest you skip the extra plant food for any tree not in a container once it is three years in the ground. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
