Overwinter

Can i overwinter this, if yes how is best? 2 questions lol

Yes, it looks like you have the California fuchsia or Zauschneria a drought resistant plant used in warm climates as a groundcover. It will not survive the winters outdoors if you live in an area where you experience frost but you can grow it as a houseplant. Give it as much light as possible and do not overwater or fertilize in the winter months. Feel the soil by poking a finger down one inch and only water when the top inch of soil is dry. Never let this drought resistant plant stand in drainage water. In late spring after all danger of frost is passed you can bring it outdoors, add some Osmocote to the soil and enjoy as a patio plant once again. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
