My new lawn was hydroseeded in June. The sunny areas of my lawn are mainly crab grass. Can I put new loom/soil over the crab grass and reseed?

Yes - the crabgrass moves into the areas where the new lawn is thin and weak. Add fresh soil and reseed to crowd out the invading crabgrass. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
