phyllisduke’s Question

My avocado trees produce no fruit this year. Why? They appear healthy.

Marianne's Response

Avocados need heat and sunshine to make fruit so perhaps nearby tree have grown large enough to shade them. Another common cause of poor fruit production is pruning late in the year so that the new growth has no time to bloom. Wild life can also interfere by eating the flower buds. Hope this helps, better luck next year, Marianne Binetti
