Marianne's Response

What is the best ground cover to pair with red carpet sedum?

I planted a large area with red carpet sedum which is doing so-so, but I dislike the spidery stems. Is there another ground cover that could be planted among these to make it more appealing? Something hearty and pretty to lighten up the dark red and help hide those ugly spider stems…
Thanks very much

Yes, plant the golden creeping sedum called sedum Angelina and you will be impressed with the movie star shine and prolific growth. This is a newer sedum but now sold by many garden centers and nurseries. It is gold in the sun, more lime green in the shade. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
