Plant ID
6/6/26- The plant ID section on Planters Place isn’t working correctly for days. No matter what photo you upload, even of common flowers, it says it can’t find any matches. I can’t find an Email or phone number on the website to let them know so could you please forward this info to them so they can get it fixed? If they can’t fix it, they should remove this option from the website. Thank you

Jill, the Plant ID tool is now working. Sorry for the inconvenience. Updates to the API invalidated our calls. Interestingly, our tech person used Claude AI to find the problem. We are living in an amazing world. The technology we have available today is remarkable. Best wishes for the 2026 growing season. Bob Stohler.
Hi, Jill! Sorry for the delay in responding. I don't know why the ID function is dysfunctional - pun intended! I tried it with a known plant photo and got the same nonsense response. I've reached out to our technical person and asked for help. I will let you know what happens. Bob Stohler, web master.
