Planting Bulbs in Pots

Due to an accident last fall, I was unable to plant my spring bulbs. Can I still plant them now? I would like to plant in black pots and then put the pots in the ground.

Yes! If you have stored those unplanted bulbs in a cold garage or shed and they got to experience a winter chill they could be ready to bloom soon so get them into your pots or dig a hole and put them into the ground. They may not have as many flowers or could perhaps dried out over the winter but you have nothing to lose by planting them now. Saving the bulbs until next fall will only make them less likely to survive. So glad you are healing up from your injury.
