Planting ground cover plohx
I am planting a lot of plohx on both sides of my garage towards the front. I already have a medium size hosta and new lavender plant next to hosta. The area I am trying to cover is about 5’x5’. I would like to know how many plants I should plant and how far apart they should be. Thank you,
Chris

Creeping phlox needs really good drainage and loves full sun. Make sure the drainage spout in the photo does not direct any water into the phlox bed. You can space the phlox plants 12 to 24 inches apart from one another depending on if you use large plants in one gallon pots (these would go 24 inches apart) or smaller plants in 4 inch pots (these would be planted closer, just 12 inches apart.) A gentle reminder that creeping phlox is a rock garden plant so perfect drainage and lots of sun are the secret to flocks of happy phlox. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
