pmc435’s Question
when planting melons and squash, how far apart should the plants be so they do not cross pollinate?

I have never worried about this because insects do the pollination so even 25 feet apart is not enough to keep the bees from visiting both. Plant some flowers nearby each planting so the bees will take their time visiting both the melons and the squash. You can also use a paintbrush and hand pollinate the flowers by dipping the end of a small paintbrush into each blossom. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
