So sorry about your last palms. I do need to know where you live to get an idea of what climate you have. There are some very hardy Windmill Palms that can handle freezing temps but only in certain situations. Also try a "palm-like" plant called Nandina or Heavenly Bamboo. It does not spread like bamboo but has that tropical look and is very hardy.  Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
