A few months ago you wrote an article about a hanging basket plant that was of interest for next year. I thought I saved that article but if I did I saved it so well I can’t find it!!! I have looked thru your featured articles but I don’t see the article. Can you let me know the name of the plant. It was of the spreading variety and one that I was not familiar with and I believe had a blue flower?

Thanks for reading the article. My best guess is that the plant I wrote about was Scavolea Blue Wonder also called fan flower. This annual plant has thick succulent leaves and a low or hanging growth form, can take heat and full sun and will wilt but then revive if you forget to water. The blooms are in the shape of a fan and cover the entire plant. It also  comes in a white variety. You may want to check out the "proven winners" plant brands as the fan flower variety they have awarded will be the one most durable and popular.
