Raecamp’s Question
I would like to know which clematis works best for growing up thru a rhododendron.

Marianne's Response
I would suggest a clematis that is less vigorous so as not to swamp or overpower the rhodie. One of the double flowering varieties such as Seiboldi clematis or one of the compact Raymond Everson clematis such as \"Monet\" or \"Cezanne\" are all good choices. Just look for the eventual height of the clematis on the tag. Do not use the evergreen clematis or a rampant grower such as the Sweet Autumn Clematis as they grow too large.
