Suggestions for changing the PH in acidic well water
I have very acidic well water. It actually retards the growth of plants in my vegetable garden. Can I mix lime into the water to change the PH? Or what do I have to do to correct this problem? We usually have very dry spells when rain water is not sufficient.

The best source for an answer to your question is your local extension agent. I do not recommend mixing lime into your irrigation water without a water quality control specialist testing and checking the water pH. May all your rainfall be gentle and plentiful this summer and your vegetable garden bountiful.
Keep growing,
