Vegetables and flowers to consider growing near marshland
What thrives among marshland? I am hoping to start a vegetable and flower garden.

If you have damp soil near a marshy area it is best to grow vegetables and flowers in containers or raised beds. Large pots like half whiskey barrels will provide lots of fresh produce especially if you grow bush cucumbers, tomatoes, herbs, or squash like zucchini. Make sure the containers are in full sun with potting soil that drains quickly and is of good fertility. Using a potting soil like Miracle Grow potting soil will make things easier, as the plant food is already mixed in. Annual flowers like petunias, zinnias, and geraniums will also thrive in large containers. Perennials that will bloom in damp soil include primroses, astillbe, canna, and marsh marigolds. Native plants such as skunk cabbage and iris are also flowers to consider.
Keep growing,
