Marianne's Response

Sometimes. Not in my cool, wet garden but in the dry soil areas of the Kitsap Peninsula and in the quick draining soils of West Seattle I have seen this gray foliaged perennial survive the winter. Maybe you could try growing it in a pot then moving the container under the house eaves in winter to keep out the rain.? It is the wet, not the cold that kills off so many perennials in our climate. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
